Lest We Forget
This week marks one of the most important days of the year. November 11th we all take a moment to acknowledge those that fought and continue to protect our freedom.
We have members on both sides of our family that fought for our country. We can not stress enough on our children the importance of acknowledging this day.

I hope that you will be taking a moment of silence with us on the 11th month, on the 11th day and at the 11th hour.
In Flanders Fields
In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead, short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high. If he break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields
- Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae
